The Alice Reporter is an online newspaper serving Alice, Texas, and the surrounding communities. Founded on December 7, 2024, The Reporter revives the name of a historic Alice newspaper that served the community in the late 1800s, carrying forward a tradition of local journalism that dates back more than a century. We are dedicated to providing easily accessible news that meets the public where they are.

The Reporter is the only locally owned newspaper in Alice and provides the community with an independent voice and perspective on matters that affect our community. We pride ourselves on truth, integrity, and objectivity as the cornerstone principles of journalism.
